WalleyesRus and I caught 5 runts on upper BS Friday. Two were just under keeper size, but the whites were huge. We had two that were 19".

If the scales check out, the fish is absolutely a world record fish by weight alone. I don't think a foul hooked fish should count as a record for the angler, and shouldn't go in the books.

Several of the fish we caught were surprisingly shallow. I don't think they could have seen a grub up my way last weekend. It probably has cleared back up some now.

I do like the 5.0 for crankbaits. I tend to fish faster and faster and faster... Then I wonder why I haven't been bit in the last hour!
