This could have been a real disaster if it would have happpened on a summer holiday weekend. The Shut-ins campground lies right along the river bottom and is always packed.

The kid will appreciate all of the kind words, he still checks this site out for good advice. In addition to the game he harvested while back home he freshened up a lot of old "scrapes" along the way. Thanks again.

We usually try to fish Maramec and Montauk a few times each year. We camped down a Maramec this past summer and had a real good trip.
