Re: Bull Shoals Walleye

Yep, Point 13 is right there by Pontiac. You can usually find water with a little more color up that way but it didn't work out that way this time. Maybe if we'd gone on up we could have found some color. It's a long ride from Peel to Pontiac. We decided it would be a waste of time to run all that w...

Re: Bull Shoals Walleye

We got into Big Creek a little ways during pre-fish. We went flying past Big Creek tourney day. Yep, the water is real clear at the Bull right now. There was alot of floating junk from the big rains but no stained water we could find. We went as far as Point 13 up the Theodosia arm. Still no stained...

Re: Bull Shoals Walleye

Triton, when I finally got Bullitt out of the hammack he did pretty good... http://www.outdoormissouri.com/ubb/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif Tourney was out of Peel and we were fishing downstream several miles. We tried a little of everything in our day and a half of pre-fishing. Finally went with tr...

Bull Shoals Walleye

Bullitt and I won the Bull Shoals Walleye tournament Saturday. We brought in a tournament limit (5) that weighed 17 pounds plus change. We also snared the big fish award.

Re: Something to think about....

Well I hate to have to post this but.... The PWT was part of In-Fisherman which was owned by Primedia Corp.... Primedia was recently sold. The PWT 2007 tournament schedule was shortened by two tournaments. One of those dropped was Bull Shoals. So, no Professional Walleye Trail tournament at BS in 20...

Something to think about....

The Professional Walleye Trail (PWT) will be returning to Bull Shoals next June 20th thru 22nd.....If you want to learn ALOT about catching walleyes in a short amount of time, consider fishing the tournament as a "co-angler". You fish each day with a different pro and your catch counts tow...

Re: Hey TableRock

TH, there isn't much to tell except that I was trolling crankbaits and lucked into a big walleye. There are walleyes in Tablerock but the population isn't as good as Bull Shoals. I even heard of some decent walleye catches up at Truman earlier this summer... And also at Beaver Lake in Arkansas. Mayb...
