Re: Urban deer
Up here in Minneapolis, MN, we have a group called the Metro Bowhunter's Resource Base (MBRB) which works with the many county parks departments on deer removal efforts, as an alternative to sharp shooters which cost about $200/deer removed. check us out at www.strictlybowhunting.com for more info. ...

Re: To Peep or To No-Peep?
I hated using a peep because I always second guessed whether or not I had the pin centered the same everytime. The no-peep creates that alignment reference. Now the kisser is the only thing I need and my shooting is consistent. On the extra time issue, why wouldn't you want to maximize the amount of...

Re: To Peep or To No-Peep?
I used a no-peep for two years, a few years back. Since then, I've had two bows with no peep in the string, just a kisser button, and without the No-Peep. For me, I used the NO-PEEP long enough that my form became very consistent. Since I don't use a peep, I get a few more minutes of being able to s...

Re: Broadheads, Fixed Blade or Mech.
Got an excellent recipe fer Otter Flambe'. Only downside is once you light 'em up, they are darn hard to catch! Speakin' of otters, IF you DID see a turkey, What WOULD you throw at the wily Thunder Chicken, fixed blade or Mechanical broadheads? Since you "ain't got no", this would be a hyp...

Re: Broadheads, Fixed Blade or Mech.
Thanks for the tip about there being no turkeys in MO, my mistake. I appreciate you settin' me straight on that. And those rumors about lakes in Minnesota....all lies made up by the DNR and Tourism boards!! For otters, there's the Muzzy Otter-ator 6 blade, Rocket's Otter Blender (best setting is &qu...

Broadheads, Fixed Blade or Mech.
What do you throw at the wily Thunder Chicken, fixed blade or Mechanical broadheads? When you bagged a Turkey with your Bow, where did you hit him or her including the angle the arrow went into or through, Which head did you use and what was the recovery distance? I'm using a 2" cut Rocket Hamm...

Re: Non-resident info, New to dis hyar place
Thanks for the info. I am aware of the 4-point rule now in effect in 29 counties(?). My buddy, Glen, is more of a trophy guy than I am but I AM in a quest to put one on the wall. I have the wall but need the "filler". High-fenced isn't our cup of tea, err, glass o' brew but thanks anyway. ...

Non-resident info, New to dis hyar place
Howdy there! YES! I have invaded another website to show how much I don't know about bows and bowhunting. My name is TomBow (pretty ambitious, huh?) and you may have already guessed, I'm a bowhunting fool. (Some may question the bowhunting part.....) Anyways, I've been reading the tomfoolery that go...
