Re: Vest
Midwest Turkey Call . com has the Ol? Tom vest for sale at $99. My 5 pocket vest is still working just fine, so even $100 isn?t too enticing. Maybe for someone else, but not me. It isn?t listed on their site, but it is shown in the catalog. And yea. This is just like some pavement person thinking an...

Well hopefully you'll at least do some research on it before you chime in with your chin music.

Re: Vest
I might accept one as a gift or a prize at a banquet but I'm not buying one at $120.

Re: Vest
It's pricey, but has some nice features. I couln't find Ol' Tom's web addy, but did call them once to have a catalog sent. This web site doesn't do the vest any justice other than the price... http://www.wildlifeheritage.com/product/932579 Removable pads in the back. One on each side and one in the ...

Labeling Treestands
Just bought the Summit Openshot. What a difference in weight and ease of use w/ the Rapistirrups. Anyway, I'm planning on, once again, getting of those dog collars you can buy ingraved on the spot at the pet store for less than $5. Instead of screwing it down, I was thinking of cleaning that spot of...

Sale of Trade - Truck Camper
We love the Truck Camper lifestyle sooo much we're getting a newer one. This needs a 3/4 ton or larger Long bed truck to haul around. Everything works except the furnace. I've been using a heater buddy to fill that need and it works just fine. All electrical outlets work. All 12-volt Lights, charger...

Re: Muzzleloading Question
I agree. It really is easy. None of the high dollar CLP, mixing cleaning crap, swabbing between every shot.... just hot water, dry it, and run a pre-lubed patch. Simple as hell.

Re: Muzzleloading Question
Jeff - Here's a recent post of mine regarding what I've done with Bore Butter. It's in response to some chastising a few Bench-Resting Muzzle Loaders that know a whole lot more about this stuff than I do. Yet, after one of the most respected read this, he gave me the thumbs up... as in 'sounds good'...

Re: Muzzleloading Question
If you can't get rid of the brown on the patches, then you may want to use J-B Non-Embedding cleaning compound on the barrel. You can get it from www.midway.com either by itself or with a can of Kroil for less than $15. Kroil would get EVERYTHING out of the barrel, the you could start the seasoning ...
