MTL 6-12/13

Post by Bruce Carpenter » June 14th, 2004, 5:39 pm

Fished for crappie at MTL for about two hours each morning, caught 3-4 slabs each morning 12-14 inch fish, plus about 30-45 other crappie each morning. Fish summer patterns and caught white bass, black bass, catfish, drum, bluegill, and crappie using white jig tipped with a minnow. Tightline fishing in 20-25 feet of water around structures. Kept 9-12 quality fish each morning releasing 9 inch or smaller fish, just boating and taking pictures with the female members of the household. Very soft bites from the fish. Image

'Carpe Diem' does not mean 'fish of the day.'
