New air rifle

Post by RB » July 13th, 2011, 12:32 pm

We have been having problems with coons killing the chickens on our farm so I bought a Gamo Varmit Hunter .177 cal air rifle. Caught the thief in a trap and the gamo wasted him. That gun really hits hard. It came with a scope that has a laser and flashlight on the mount. Thought it was too dangerous to shoot through the trap with a 22. Cabelas had a good deal on them and was giving vets a 25% discount.

I use one of those at work. It's a beastly gun and accurate with the open sights, too.

I use a .22lr.

Some of those adult air rifles have a louder report than .22cb loads.

I got me a Benjamin air rifle for them in-town pest problems. Damn fat, grain-fed city squirrels will not leave my corn dispenser alone..
