SAMCRO will kill two more deer and call it a year. The chest freezer is brimming, and the grinder is begging to be fired up.

I can't decide if I'll kill this weekend, or wait until Christmas week. I want mind-numbering cold and snow for the last two experiences, and it looks as though I may even need to wait until January.

Regardless, I've once again hunted the rest of you into the dirt. This year, none of my kills came off of leased ground, as I gave up my lease after I moved east. As it turns out, I can outhunt you even on ground open to most anyone.

It's been a long long while since I ended up with tag soup. Either way, good luck with the last two.

Yes - a Tuesday afternoon hunt in what little snow we get is probably going to happen. Don't need another deer but still looking for that one we had one cam.

But, as far as tag soup - deer hunting this year has been the opposite of ducks - which has been terrible.

Between myself and the three boys ranging from seventeen, fourteen and twelve we have killed 9 deer.

Three antlered bucks
Two button bucks
Four does

Oh - and to keep it honest, a couple handfuls of turkey feathers

Gonna be too hot to deer hunt the next two days for December.

SAMCRO just passed up a 120inch 8-point. SAMCRO has many photos of this buck and believes he's only 2.5. SAMCRO considered dropping a stick onto said animals head, but decided not to spook him. SAMCRO can see his house, and believes mama has chorizo and eggs ready. No does or good bucks this morning. Maybe tomorrow a young slick will happen by.

This young buck will be nice next year, if SAMCRO can keep his hunting partner from shooting him.

Showme......that wouldn't be a bad year, other than it taking 4 of you to kill just 9 animals. That's cute.

Turks killed from deer stands don't get anything other than a "at least you didn't get skunked entirely", and that's it. Looks like an 8-pounder. Should eat good.
