This Saturday...just like the first Saturday in June every year.....is the annual Testicle Festival in Olean, MO or in DMR-speak "The Nutmuncher's Ball". If you don't have anything going on and looking for something to do, c'mon down to Olean, MO and have a ball!

Where in the fork is Olean? I wish I could make it. Always wanted to but never have.

On Highway 87 about 15 miles south of California, MO (or 5 miles north of Eldon). I'm an O-fficial employee this year. A friend asked if I wanted to work one of the gates for awhile....don't have to pay the $5 entry fee, free t-shirt ($25) and she'd hook me up with some free drinks when I got off work since she was bartending. Figure that's $40 or $50 I'm not spending for working just 3 hours!!

It always sounds like a good time. It's hard to find those things around here. We get them every time we go to Colorado or out west. Good eats for sure. Is DMR going?

I haven't talked to DMR in eons!! Thought maybe I'd hear from him around mushroom time but didn't. I want to go hit that 4 day float we did a couple of years back and take the boy this time....he'd love it!! I think DMR says by first part of June is about the best for fishing, and I cna't make that happen this year.

I think I reminded Born Bad about it too, but he's had a lot on his plate recently...
