I do believe you will see some degree of movement. I'm not all balls to the wall about it though. I plan to do some turkey hunting.

LP and PS, they are heavy into the rut at our farm. The buck and doe in my cool buck sighting thread were clearly taking a break from the love in. My neighbor watched them courting in our hayfield all morning. We have had deer running all over the place for a couple weeks now. From the numbers it does not look like EHD has thinned our herd. We have a number a shooter bucks on the camera and they have plenty of girlfriends to keep them busy. I got a great deal on a two bottom plow and disc so next year we'll have some big food plots also.

I have seen a freaking ton of deer Sunday and Monday. But, only 3 bucks (2 2.5 year olds and one 3.5 year old). Took today off from hunting but back at it tomorrow.

PS, You should have seen the body size on the buck we caught laying down by the doe. He was easy twice her size. Very nice rack 8 pt for sure maybe 10 but could not see it that clearly through the brush. I would guess him around 140+ some.

Our farm in Pulaski Co blew up this weekend. Dad is retired now and hunted a lot last week without seeing a thing. Then between three of us from Saturday morning to Monday evening we saw 28. A few bucks up and about. I blew a shot at the best buck of my life Saturday morning and hit him in the shoulder. Still sick with myself over that. Looked for him for a lot of hours and am pretty convinced I did not kill him. Hoping he makes a return trip in the next few weekends. Punched my dang release like a rookie. :( Then Dad sent me a trailcam pic of him yesterday from two days prior to me shooting him. That didn't help!!! It happens, time to dust off and move on.
