Freak!!!

Post by Limbshot » September 25th, 2014, 9:39 am

So my buddy Chris has been trying for years to get me to come hunt with him up in Iowa. I have a couple of preference points built up right now so maybe in another year or two. Anyway, he has been after a freak non-typical for a couple of years now and was getting pics of him behind his house all summer. Weeeell the Iowa youth season is going on and his neighbor's little guy was fortunate enough to catch up with this thing!!! Quite an impressive first deer. The amazing part it, Chris told me this isn't even the biggest deer he is getting pics of back there!!! Anyway, thought you guys would enjoy.

You should take him up on his offer if he has a place to hunt. Have a buddy who has a farm in Iowa and they kill some big deer up there.

Buck of many lifetimes, Iowa or not. That is a huge-bodied, fully mature beast, with a broken-down non-typical rack of dreams.
All you thugs and ugly mugs dealing drugs and making noise,
You can kill each other all you want but if you touch my little boys,
You begging for this bullet will be the last thing that you say
before I let my dark side come out to play

They actually had pics of this deer over the summer Samcro, and that is exactly what he looked like in velvet too. They said he had a couple of small points that had busted off, but all on the left side. His right side was just very freakish!!!

Cool buck. Do they have any idea why it was so messed up?
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

I'm thankfully not Limbshot, but my guess would be that it had nothing, or little, to do with any damage or other factors. I base this on the awesomenes of the other side, with the freakish twists and drops. Genetics and age played a factor in this one.

This, by the way, is the kind of buck SAMCRO dreams of. Big typicals are great and all, but I'd take this one all day long over most any other clean buck.

They have been following this deer for a few years Tony. His rack has just always been funky, and the right side has always been significantly weaker. No sign of injury or any physical damage to the deer he just grew that way. I'd say his offspring will be rather undeniable.
