Hold on a second fishin, let me check something...yep I`m still laughing pretty hard at your offer. Image Image I just thought I would see if anyone one here wanted a good bow before I listed it on Archerytalk. Image Image

No way ToxicAsp. That place is double top secret. Image I`ve been Image too many times. The only reason I let Robin hunt there is because I knew he wouldn`t remember where it was, since he didn`t have his GPS with him. Besides that when you`re in, you`re in. I can`t take money for my guide service.

Come to think of it, I don`t really remember how Robin weaseled his way into my best stand. I probably just took pity on him when I saw him using that gutted-out old panel truck as a bowhunting camp. Image

First of all, you have to be recommended by a previous client.(this may require a little sucking-up on your part) Then there will be background checks, skills testing, disclaimers and vouchers to sign, and a myriad of gifts, and offerings to the guide(that would be me). If you have video footage of yourself harvesting an animal with a bow, that would be a plus for you too. So it`s never too early to get started for the 2005 season. Image Image Or we could just do one of those trade-a-hunt things. Image

What does the Darton Maverick look like ? And I'll let you know and if it's what I'm looking for or not.

I am all up for the trade-a-hunt thing. I will let you have any of my stands for the same amount of time you could put me on one over there. I have no video footage. I'm a subpar shot at best. I'm not very good at sucking up, but I guess I could start trying. I make a gazillion dollars a year so I could shower you with gifts. When I met Robin, I kindof felt sorry for him too. He is an ugly little dwarf. You put MoBuck's good looks with Robin's killing ability, then you have something. Thank God I was blessed with both. Image

Well I`ll have to check with MoBuck to see if that will be an even trade. What size bucks are running around the HFA? The only problem I foresee is that we only take two hunters per season here at Skillet Fork Outfitters, and Robin and MoBuck have first dibs based on prior booking with us. We are considering offering these two slots to the highest bidders for the upcoming season. (you said a gazillion dollars, right?) Image

You just made me realize something...Robin had mentioned a video venture before, but when he started hunting with MoBuck they jumped in with both feet. I can kill the chit out of critters, but evidently I`m just not as photogenic as Keith. I could have been a star if I wasn`t so fugly. Image

DR,

Look here:http://www.dartonarchery.com/premier_assault.htm

This is a picture of a new model, but they haven`t changed much. The one I have has much the same specs as the SuperTec, but it`s not as fast, and it has more recoil at the shot. It is ready to hunt, just needs a new string on it. Let me know if you are interested, and I`ll tell you more. Image

Nice bow but it's not really what I'm looking for...Sorry about the trouble, but thanks for the offer.

Those fuggers didn't invite me either. The least they could offer us is an invite to put our deer together on a barn and at least give them a good picture for the Aim Low website. I don't know what they are gonna do about that. MoBuck's sammich bucks and Robin's half-racks aren't gonna cut the mustard. ImageBTW, we have some really good deer over here, but I don't think it compares to what you have killed.

They say you have so many 140-160 inch deer on your walls that they are beginning to cave in a bit.
