Sounds like a good time.
Our first boat was an aluminum v-hull closed bow run-about '63 Texas Maid with fins. It had a 90 H.P. Evinrude. I loved that boat. We painted the fins in black with a black stripe around the boat. The rest of the boat was white. We called it the "Bat-moboat" We used to buy $1 BBQ utensils and cut shear pins out of the length of it. Had to,running the Meramec at George Winter Park. Brings back memories.
