Schell Youth Hunt

Went to the middle zone youth hunt this weekend. Tried Schell Osage but believe it or not we didn't draw a low enough number to get to hunt. I believe they had 45 + parties and only 34 parties hunted. Went to one of the open units at Four rivers and saw lots of ducks and the boys got some shooting but no killing. Still had a good time. Got in at SChell Sunday but the birds were real skittish. No luck again. Had some friends do well Saturday at Schell, mostly teal though.

You may have been wrong on the "they's gonna start comin'" but it is always a good time to get the boys out. AT least they keep it interesting when the ducks are uncooperative!!
