Right now I am thinking of the big buck that I shot last night. Dropped him and watched him lay there for a good 15 minutes. Unloaded my gun, watched him gather himself and get away. Most unbelievably stupid thing I think I have ever done. I caught up with him and shot twice more. Then, I Carl Lewised right by him at 10 yards jumping him out of his bed. Could not find him this morning at all.

If it weren`t for bad luck, I`d have no luck at all...
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

Gunilla. She's better than Catherine Bach.

EDIT: Misty Rowe has aged better, though. In their prime, I'd take Gunilla. Now, I'd take Misty. Tough call. I'd roll in the hay with any of the Hee Haw girls.

When she sits around the barn, she sits AROUND the barn.

Me neither 2B. But, A guy has to be honest about his screwups. First of all, I missed the vitals. Must have hit high. Secondly, I didn't go up to the deer and finish him like I should have. Thirdly, I unloaded my gun. It was raining, so bloodtrailing was no option. It was dang near dark, so that made it difficult as well or I think I would have killed him on the second shot. I'm sick about this to say the least. I have often told you guys that I am better with a bow than I am with a gun. Now, I believe it in all honesty. I just hate to wound an animal like that. It is a rotgut feeling. In fact, I had dreams about it.
