Troymo---I'm connecting fine with win 98 standard, but i'm using Netscape instead of Explorer. They system is a java based unit so you might try up-dating your software from Microsoft's site and see if that will allow you to access the system. Got to Microsoft Up-Dates ===If you are on a dial-up system its going to take it a bit but it will connect. Download the system up-dater when you are prompted to do so and then look especially for any java script up-dates for your system.
Let me know if you need any help---I'll try and give you a hand if you need it.

BB--Windows XP will need the java system up-date to access the chat room also. You can click on the above link and do the same thing and that should up-date your system so it will access the chat room just fine.

Guys, I don't know anything about the workings of it, but I have been there several times. It is a great place to visit without cluttering up the board. It works great.
There does seem to be one minor problem with loggin off though. At least from my machine (Win2000) you can't return to the forum from the chat room. You have to completely get out of Internet Explorer then go back in. Might just be my machine. Nevertheless, it is a good place to visit.

IC Plasticman. Thanks! That keeps me from reporting it as a bug too!

Actually, the logging off was a bug - my bad. That bug has been fixed. You should no longer experience any difficulties logging off...
And you can thank Bill Gates for not including an up-to-date version of java. But don't get me started on that one...
Oh - you can also download the latest version of java for your operating system at http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp
