I'll tell you guys I had dreams about this deer over Thanksgiving. I talked to Keith@aimlow and I kept telling him that the dude was a lot bigger than what I had originally thought. Like Fish, I could only see his left side when I shot. I can tell you this. At that time of the day and in the rain, I could have easily made the mistake of shooting a half-rack. And, I can see where it could be done at long distances. I told my wife that by the time I got finished telling the story, he would score 170 or 180".

Craig: Spread doesn't do much for a rack other than make it look bigger than what it really is. If the right and left sides matched, he would be high 150s maybe 160. He could gross 150", I don't know. Net 140". But, he is the best I have killed with a gun and I am happy as heck. Like I have stated, I am going bow only from here on out. When it is next fall that I try to pick the gun up, I hope you boys will remind me of this statement. Another statement I had pledged was not to put another deer on the wall unless it was 160". This one would look very good on the wall for sure. I'm waffling here. I would love to have that dude in a full sneak-slight right or left with his mouth open. Put him between my other two good deer.

From the pictures, Snowflakes buck is the prettiest, followed by Jeff's Image, then back grounds in each picture, then a tie between Jeff and Snowflake.

Very nice looking Image Image. It appears that a transportation tag is affixed to the Image, did you actually check it in during ML season?

I called the agent who had given me permission to look for the deer. I put the transportation tag on the Image, and then checked it on Monday at his office.

I'm a lot better looking than Smitty...plus I found my deer a lot quicker, because he died on the spot.
