Crappie report

The boy and I hit our local lake this afternoon after he got out of school and caught 30 crappie and bass on jigs. The crappie were 9 to 13in and the bass were small about 10-13inch. Lots of fun for this time of year though. They were about 8-10ft deep.

Hey, Bruce....are you out "slumming" today from your usual hangout? We'd welcome some crappie reports from the upper half of the state whenever you have time to post one here.
Down in the walleye forum, we have several guys who are still trying to kick the crappie habit....good to hear from you again.

You would be correct in that assumption!! Maybe I should have said I caught the crappie in the 9-10 inch range and my boy caught the 11-13 in crappie. I garantee he will tell it that way
