Went to LOZ last weekend. No luck. Nothing. It did rain all day though.

Heard they was catching a few around Grand Glaize Bruce.

May go for some bass or walleyes a lil later in the week myself.

We are headed to Taneycomo tomorrow until Sunday. Might get on BS on Saturday but will definitely catch a bunch of trout (catfish bait to Wolfie). Nothing better than a 5 day fishing trip with a couple of fish frys.

Upper Bull Shoals or lower Stockton--both are prime for walleyes right now! pd

You didn't happen to run into Quintin up there did you BB???? Talked to him this afternoon while snaggin' a few suckers and he said that he had been up on the James checkin' the spoonie snaggers. Said just about every boat had at least one or two fish.

Looks like BB & CW gonna hit it Thursday. This flatlander is going to go snagging for spoonbills for the first time, then we're headed down to Bull Shoals for a late afternoon thru early evening walleye trip. We'll probably put in at RR, but no plan yet on where we will start fishing. If BB gets me killed doing this snagging thing, I hereby leave my fishing gear and all my fly tying stuff to Wolfie. Only two questions: (1)do those long snout catfish have sharp teeth
and (2) are they aggressive toward humans in waders???
We're on a mission from God.

CW, one question, can you swim? Ever hear of a Nantucket sleigh ride? I can see one of them 70 pound spoonies dragging you and your waders down the river...lol
No teeth, they will just beat you to death with their tail and snout...lol
