You didn't answer my question yet BC.

Bruce, you are cordially invited to attend a OM get together on March 5th at the north parking lot of the Rocky Fork CA in Columbia. This cooresponds with the Classic also in Columbia through the weekend. Lots of eats and plenty of bs to go around. Image

It is a forum to discuss waterfowl hunters preferences and desires on opening day/zones/seasons etc. The MDC does town hall meetings throughout the state to hear what waterfowlers have to say and use that input to determine the waterfowl season. But it is only a minor factor, the flyway council and department of interior/fish and wildlife service develop the overall framework for each season and establishes bag limits, that are then recommended to the reulations committee, the MDC hqs and ultimately the commissioners to establish the rules each season. "a feedback session for the hunters" is basically what it is. Long answer but thought you were entitled to due to your patience on the matter. Will check schedule and see if i can make it on the 5th, would like to make it even if for just a while. BC

Thanks Bruce. Would certainly like to meet you. Bring whomever you would like. Hopefully Kingfisher will make an appearence so we can then dispute who the real crappie god is. So far he wins hands down in cooking them. Image Image Image

Kingfisher is in a class by himself. I have observed him catch crappie, pick mushrooms and shoot turkey. I can compete in all three areas but he leaves in the dust on the cooking!!! I yield!!v Brian is da man!!! Image

I'll be sure not to tell Brian about any of the kudos. He don't need the ego boost. Image

Bruce,

C'mon by on the 5th. It'll be like a throwdown ( minus the gunfire, explosions, airboats, and terrified passers by ) Image
