cats are gettin there

Post by JBMan » March 18th, 2004, 9:46 pm

last night i went out on a st. patty day fishin TRIP ifin you know what i mean anyway caught 2 channels around 4 - 5 lb range at my buddies pond. we cleaned them to the best of our ability and had a good supper out of em. then today, i wanted to know how big the stockers are that i put in the pond a few years ago. ended up catching one that went 15 and 3/8 in. is this normal for 2 years without feed? also pitched a beetle spin ; pops and i came out with about 6 bass around 2-3 pounds and a couple bass about a foot long and 1 hybrid gill about 10 inches. the biggest bass had a gill the size of the one i caught in its gullet. all you could see was the tail and where it was in the fish. good fishin today

I didn't say I wouldn't believe his report, only that I wanted in on the action.

CFP, thought you might of went back to LOZ again. But your fishing in that pond behind the house. Girl you got to get out more and find soe BIG kitties.

You know kutter, you give him a judicious push at just the opportune moment as cool as it still is you could end up haveing the pond all to yourself. At least till he dried out..lol

biggrin at least I'd have some action.Dang,I'm bored, not much cat action yet-muddy water slowed the crappie/white bass down, seems tto be a soccer-b.b. game every weekend for the grandkids, dog classes for the dog, money tight-closing on a house soon.
I'm thinking about the 2 week of april
