Walleyesrus....what a great idea...I'll bet that PD could twist some arms at "that big fishing outfitter" to open the Uncle Buck's Auditorium for a seminar. It's after deer season and really in-between seasons for everything except the early walleye run(s), so that would be an ideal time. I believe there was some talk of perhaps holding the banquet in there anyway. Sign me up now.

For the attendees at tonight's little soiree'....be advised that CW might have a handi-cam handy, and anything you do or say MIGHT be recorded for posterity or a sleazy divorce lawyer hired by your soon to be ex-wife. Hey...I'm never going to be able to afford a new walleye boat on my tournament winnings (which so far total $0), so a little blackmail might have to be used to beef up the Help Out The CW Fund...........looks like its about time to hit the road for the big city...see y'all in about an hour and a half.

I'm sure JC1 & JC2 would do this gratis, they have to come down in the winter to stock up on Gulp! and Shad Raps anyway. Get 'em to sign an agreement tonight after about a dozen brewskis!

Hey Lee, I'm thinking of stopping by when I get off, the rest of the guys might be laying around the parking lot by then, but you never know, there might be a few inside still and we could try out your cheap drinking theory?

Re: Quality time with a Pro...walleye pro, that is.....
Sorry we missed you guys....we bailed out about 9:30 or so after two or three major rain storms outside. Our waitress, Stacy D. almost did a lap around the building in the rain for us, but at the last second decided she might mess up her hair. Bummer. I got some great digital pics of our pro friend, Jim Carroll, but as usual I can't post them. Will email them on to PD, and maybe he can show you what a terrible time Jim had tonight. In addition to the superior quality DD wings, we also had some very productive talks with Jim about some kind of fish. I was somewhat distracted and missed a lot of it, but I'm sure that PD, Todd, and Jim were talking about some kind of fish.

Yeah, I'm almost sure the topic was fish. Although I can't seem to recall the context...
But Jumpin' Jim Carroll sure was a fine feller. Represents the sport of professional walleye fishing very well. He'd be a good guy to fish with, if you ever have the opportunity.

Sorry I couldn't get there earlier, but did have a delightful time with the fishing fanatic Erin and then a very insightful discussion with our very own FLW angler, Lee Brown.

I remember Erin...she was greeting people at the door, and when she saw my official tournament shirt, she just went ga-ga! Apparently she and a companion had been fishing on Sunday and caught several small size sun perch (bluegills????) Yes indeed, she makes a fine example of a fishing fanatic.

Well, Gentlemen, that was a fine time and the scenery wasn't too bad either. We may need to rendevous real soon like that again. I'll have plenty of time as I'll be down South for the next month or so. Thanks for the Wings & Beer. I've got one of the pictures, but if any of you guys have more, I'd like to see them
Also, for those of you who haven't been to Hooters, I highly recommend the Staci Sandwich!

Re: Quality time with a Pro...walleye pro, that is.....
Got maybe four or five more....will get them off to you or put them on a disc and pass them on next week....drive careful coming down. BTW, the waitress at Smith's is still there...next time you have hull repairs done, you WILL crash out here with us, and we'll go by and say hello to Jenny. Any arrangements after that are strictly up to you.

As for another rendezvous after you win another big check from PWT....Oh yeahhhhhhh. If you guys can work in some pre fishing up in the Theodosia arm this weekend, our club weigh ins will be at 3:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Team Table Rock is not bound by the PWT ethical behavior rules, so it would be entirely appropriate to tell me where the wallies are biting and on what........see ya next week.

Gotta admit, the Staci Sandwich sure looked tasty. I'll have to try that myself sometime!
