TR...that must have been Gary's rig. He has a sink setup like that that pumps water through the transome like a livewell pump, up to the sink and it drains out into the bilge. Depending on how many times he feels like washing his hands in the course of a day,.....I think you get the picture. I can't make fun of Gary, though. We had a 24 ft sailboat when we lived in Tampa, and one day the drain hose came off the petcock which was below the waterline to start with....and got further below the waterline as the below deck area started to fill. Of course, we were all up topside enjoying the sun and breeze. I was lucky to get the boat back to the dock and on the trailer with a couple hundred gallons of salt water in the hull. It took a while, but finally got it all pumped out and the inside rinsed down. The water was almost knee deep in the hull, so it was getting to be a serious situation. Ol Gary may want to reroute that drain hose on his sink, eh?
We're on a mission from God.
