Incoming!

Post by Jim Carroll » April 27th, 2005, 5:36 pm

Guys, I'm heading South on Sunday from Minneapolis. What time is the weigh-in at Theodosia? Might drop by to check that out if I get down in time. Hopefully, a victory party at our favorite spot in Springfield? Image

I've got a little business to do at Tracker and BPS on Monday and then it will be on to pre-fishing.

I have no one scheduled for Tuesday or Wednesday, so if anyone wants to do battle with those elusive BS 'Eyes and ride along, I'd be happy to take them.

If the Stacy's or Erin want to go, lakes and/or species DO NOT MATTER! Stockton Sunny's? You Bet! Image Image

If you can pull your boat down from MinnyAPolice and get to Theodosia by 3:00, you are in the wrong sport....NASCAR needs you. Most of us will be pretty well fried by Sunday afternoon, but it is always possible that a few of the hardiest of the lot could find their way to that place in Springfield by Monday afternoon if you are not headed back south. Otherwise, we will be standing by for the big apres-tournament victory celebration. The long range forecast looks wet for everybody....us this weekend, you guys the next week. At least it is not predicted to snow......wish I hadn't said that! Image

BTW, congratulation on your performance in Illinois.

Jim - I'll be checking into the Lighthouse Point Resort on Friday the 6th in the afternoon. Bringing charcoal, meat and beer. You and Johnnie stop by after you get off the water.

Jim....before I forget..cancel the order on the 101 trolling motor. As Mike figured, the shaft is way too long, and I don't think I can cram another big battery in with the two I have. If I ever get into a "real" walleye boat, I will drive up to your house and take one of those off your hands.

OK...I was down to $300 bucks or so! Image Can't hardly give these d@mn things away... Image I think between Johnnie and I, we have 4 or 5 Maxxum 101's w/62" shaft to get rid of, if anyone's interested.

Jim Carroll, What kind of trolling motor is it and does it include the mount. I have a deck boat and I need a long shaft for the boat. I have a pinpoint but it's so sensitive it's hard to use with a big boat.

MinnKota Maxxum 36V 101 lbs w/60" shaft. I'm on the road. Contact Johnnie Candle by Monday and he can bring one down when he comes. CW or Bill Ackerman has his numbers if need be. Thanks, JC
