Great....thanks, TR. Is it safe to assume that today's number indicates who is paired with who, i.e. pro #1 is paired with amateur #1?

No, looks like the pros are organized by order of finish at Antioch, and the ams are arranged by order of entry received. Evidently Simmons & Lehman are fishing this thing also!

Gee whillickers....what's a mother to do? I just figured they had a drawing yesterday for pairing, and the scoreboard was a reflection of that drawing. Some of us are retired for a living and don't get to read every fishing article that is printed or put on the web, and get to call it "professional development". I guess if you look at it one way, it's not really a "pairing"....it's just one pro and one amateur who get the same weight, and afterwards they go their separate ways to fish with somebody else tomorrow....kinda like the love life of some people who will remain unnamed on this family oriented forum.......still I was wondering who was in what boat today. Arrrrrrgh!

I think walleyesrus got paired with Daryl Christenson on Friday. That's all I know.

I wonder if Writer Guy is heading down there for the weigh-in? Seems like a natural "assignment"...

Gas is expensive; newspapers are cheap. Maybe one of the tv stations could send a crew down for the weigh-in....hint, hint.

Early results with 34 weights in.....#14 amateur is some guy named Bill Ackermann who fished with Danny Plautz. Way to go. Looks like roughly 20% of the field is shooting blanks today..hey....we got two pros in the top ten. Steve Fellegy is currently fifth, and Johnnie Candle is 9th.

The bite is still tough....66 teams weighed in fish. 52 did not. Gonna be a lot of adjusting tonight. ReelXTC finished the day as #5 amateur. AA is at 29 or 30, with Lee Brown just below him.
"Our" pros Fellegy and Candle finished the day 6th and 10th. Jim Carroll blanked, but he will change that tomorrow for sure.

Hi,

I'm currently in 5th and Lee is in 44th place.

I'm fishing with Ted Merdan tomorrow and Jim Carroll on Friday.

Had a great day with Parsons and learned a few new tricks!

Tough time today for a lot of people....Steve Fellegy is still holding his own at 6th, and Lee Brown moved up ten places to 34th. Everybody else went the other way. Of course, the co-anglers have absolutely no control over their destiny. If the pro gets on a big bite, the co-angler goes along for the ride. If the pro has a bad day, the co-angler shares the bad news.

PD,

I'm currently in 10th place. Just need to catch a few fish tomorrow with J. Carroll and I should be in the lead for co-angler of the yar. Lost a nice one that was about 6 pounds by the boat today.

Guess there IS some walleyes in BS.

With the storms rolling in tomorrow, I won't be driving down to watch you guys weigh in. Here's wishing you good luck with Jim, and hope you guys get on some good ones. Fish hard, be safe....looks like some really nasty stuff tomorrow with high winds and intense storms in the general area.
