I fished between chicken rock and Sons from 10am to 7pm on monday, caught very few until 3pm. Found a pile of them 17ft. deep on jigs. I probably caught about 8 over 3#, the biggest was around 5#. It was a blast. People were watching me from a distance, probably gave up my secret spot. I bet they were wondering why I was letting those biggens go!

Pete....you were on top of PD's secret spot. How far from the marker buoy were you? Now that I have the Express back up and running again, I will probably see you over there pretty soon. I like to fish the bluff area and the flats across from Chicken. Just to keep your spot from having a dozen boats sitting on it next time you put in, I would not give out too many details....know what I mean, Vern?????
I got into some nice whites two days ago on the south bank of Greaser Creek as it enters Sons. No walleyes but the whites were nice size...about 16-17 inches. They're still there for anybody who wants 'em....I don't keep many fish, so all these were released. The school I found was about 15 yards off the bank in 12' of water.

I went out yesterday afternoon in the mutton creek area ,first cast I had a nice keeper walleye in about 20ft of water off a point.I thought it was going to be a great day. Didnt catch another walleye all day. ended up with a few crappie and some small whites.

Pete...PD's "secret spot" is not even as big as your boat. It's somewhat north of where I think you were fishing. And you're right....without the GPS coordinates or lots of time to graph a large area, it's almost impossible to find. The hump in not on the Hot Spots maps....if you can find an original map of the lake before it was flooded, you might, I repeat, MIGHT see where that little hump is. Otherwise, you seem to be doing OK without it. Hope you guys do well on Norfork....I will be wandering the aisles of the Cabela's main store while you guys are fishing.
