Re: Deer Dummy
In tune to the environment might be the case, but I believe there is more to it. Haven't you ever just sensed something in your gut and you turned out to be right? Knew something was wrong about a situation but couldn't really figure out how you knew it?

Re: Deer Dummy
What the heck are you talking about TT? Those Mexicalis or what? I am generally as cool as a cat unless I see a tornado coming or something like that.

I just feel there is already too many Dummies in the woods.

Re: Deer Dummy
Well, in a sense you are talking about the Mexicalis.
This is why I have never bought this deer jumping the string crap. If a deer does not sense your presence, he is gonna get whacked from 0 to 40 yards and never know what has hit him. Ifn' he realizes something is up, sure the flight syndrome is gonna cause him to react at the sound of the bow being released. These folks show this stuff on film and try to sell it as if it is natural. Bullchit I say. Oh, and my study section is rather appreciable. So you can consider these statements facts and not theories.

Re: Deer Dummy
BTW, something I have witnessed that is very hard to pull off even on a very relaxed deer is they will catch you nearly every time you try to throw something at them.

MoCraig: Until you kill something worth mentioning, might I suggest you stay in the lodge. Button bucks do not count either. They are the dumbest of animals in the Odocoileinae genus. PS
