Just got back from Stockton

Post by Skeeter Jr. » July 28th, 2005, 8:26 pm

Just got back from Stockton. Went and fished down by the twin bridges caught about 6 short Walleye trolling. Went up to Bill Kings honey hole and were we have caught some in the past and caught one on jigs just over 15. and a 12in crappie. Saw Doug Daul out on the flats he hasnt been doing to good. And another guy that fishes the tornement. The cold front shut them down a little bit i think.

Bill King is older than the rocks in Stockton dam, but he's still out there every day. Just don't make the mistake of cleaning your boat in front of "his" parking spot....just ask Paperboy and AA!

They probably saw you,but with the glitter sled just out of the shop for adjustments, they probably didn't want the Skeeter to see you and backslide..... Image
Did you leave a few for seed, Pete?

Adam...you can bet that Pete didn't park so that he was blocking Bill King's private parking slot at the marina.
That was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time....Pete wiping down his boat up at the top of the ramp, and Bill King sitting in his car fuming that "his" spot was blocked, even though there were three or four open parking spaces right next to it. It was hot, and I don't think Bill's car has an a/c....and Ackermann wondering what was going on. It was classic.

Was the lake crowded? I'm considering a quick trip over tomorrow morning. Sunday mornings are usually pretty calm until church lets out.

I'm hoping to be on the water before 7 am and be off the water by 10:30 or 11:00. This will probably be a white bass expedition, and the PWC's are not very annoying in those areas I like to work. Thanks for the info.
