Dude - show me where a moderator has moderated someone. I hear people whine about moderators, but no one really moderates. I "moderated" your post. And it is the first time I have EVER done so. And the only reason I did it was because I am tired of the whining about moderators. I don't delete posts. I don't ban people. And none of the other moderators do, either. It is really just an honorary title more than anything. The only thing that i have asked moderators to do is move stuff that is straying waaaaay off topic to the lodges.

Well JimDog, as you have seen, I can get myself into all the trouble I need, all by myself. The last thing I need is someone getting me into a fight or causing "real" trouble by posting under my name. If I can't post without the words in my post being changed, I just won't post.

Obviously, you don't give two chits about this and that's your right. Hey, it's your website... If you want, you can make death threats under my name, it's your site. Have a go at it...

Oh yeah, if you were tired of the "moderastor" comments you could simply post a scathing reply...

I have had my posts moderated a few times. Here, there, other places. When it was in fun, I laughed... when it wasn't, I laughed. The fact is, you are playin this up to be bigger than it is. If you are truly that mad about it, no need to stick around and make a big deal out of it... just leave. If not, get over it. Either way, just quit the "victim" routine.

JimDog - Even if he sent me his password, I doubt I would change or create a post in his name. I was just making a point.

I know a lot of people see these boards as a nameless, faceless source of fun ... but I see them as a little more, right or wrong. I have met several people off of boards like this and will probably meet more. What I post is the crap I would spew with my buddies at a Friday night poker game or in a duck blind, or after a hunt sitting around the truck (with the tailgate up). There are also people on thses boards that I have met and really don't want to make friends with. To me, this is just like going to a big outdoor show and meeting several new people. Some you will befriend and others you will distance yourself from. Either way, what I say and how I present myself is my decision 100%. If I act like a jacka$$ and offend people, so be it. But that was my choice to make.

Posting PM's, editing personal photos of people's kids or other family, changing people's posts are all out of bounds from where I sit...

Again, it's your website, you can do as you wish. I respect that 100% and would never try to tell you how to run it. Do as you see fit... I'm just letting you know where I come from, for what little it's worth...

sptsmn, I completely understand how you feel however, this is just for fun. Even JD poked ya on this one. Even though it is not a big number, the people who do post here on a regular basis really love this place. The rules are few and we respect them. I have joked around with a post or two in fun, mostly hobies, and I have moved a few to the lodge. Most of the time somebody just posts "consider your azz moderated" and that is it. I know a lot of these guys personally and have not met one in person that is really like their screen persona. Even the PS whose posting on here is questionable at best is a good guy when you get him out of the maid out fit and have a beer with him. If you want to live life in a hissy fit go ahead.

Again, you're makin this outta be more than it is... Tell me, how many death threats have been issued in your name? How many pictures of you kid's or family have been edited? How many of your PMs have been posted? How many of your post's have been chaged? How many fights, or how much trouble have you gotten into because of somethin someone else posted in your name?



The answer to all those is... you had one post changed as an obvious joke. Do you really believe that someone would literally believe that you sincerely said...
