I wanted to get my hands on some of that there "Scrape Juice" after the PoisonSnake gave his endorsement. I was hoping to find it here in town, since I am taking off friday to hunt, and thought it would not be here in time if I ordered it on-line. (I am just too darn cheap to pay $30 for overnight delivery)
I checked with all of the locals, and no one seems to carry it. But one of my stops was at Powder Horn Sporting Goods. I walked in the door, and was greeted by a guy who asked if he could help me. I told him what I was looking for, and he said he had never heard of it. He walked over to another guy working there. This guy was bullchitting with some other guy. The guy who greeted me asked the other guy if they carried it, and he said he had never heard of it.
What happened next was quite unexpected. He told the guy that he was bullchitting with to wait a minute while he helped me out. He then got out several dealer catalogs and started looking for it. He got on the phone and called a couple of guys. He finally found a wholesaler who carried it.
This is exactly what I was talking about on the Foster's Bass Pro thread a while back. Here I am - some schmoe off the street looking for a $10 bottle of deer piss. This guy dropped what he was doing and did everything that he could to help me out. They earned my respect and my future business today...

It's good to know that there's still such places.
It ain't always about the dollar.

They are a good group of guys. They set me up good on several occasions. Some folks don't have to worry about BassPro or Wal-Marts- they have the customer service part down- AS LONG AS they know when to put a stop to the B.S. sessions and help a customer out. Those customers who try to monopolize the sales people's attention with their chit-chat can be a cancer to a store. Much like some people here on this board...
