Tired of the idiots!!!
O.K. Don't know about the rest of you, but I am getting tired of the dumb-donkeys out there who don't know how to work ducks into the effective range of their guns. Always seems there are some idiots out there who couldn't blow their noses, little less there calls. Therefore, they shoot at anything that is within a two-mile radius and screw the whole area up. Either learn the effective range of your gun and how to use your calls, or get your azzes out of the marsh!.
BTW, once the idiots left on Saturday, ended up with a mallard and pintail and teal drake, and a teal hen. Not too bad considering the weather isn't working with us.

Dude, That's NEVER going to change. ( the dumbasses, not the weather )
There's morons out there hunting deer, turkeys, and other critters that are just as idiotic. They're just not usually as visible.
It happens on private ground too, but not on such a large scale.

Re: Tired of the idiots!!!
I know there are idiots out there in every type of hunting, it just gets old. What really gets my goat is the fact that I see guys out there with there young sons/daughters, and they are teaching them bad ethics. First and for most, they are teaching these kids that it is o.k. to not make a clean kill on an animal. If these kids don't learn the effictive ranges, all they learn is to hurt the animal instead of quick and clean. Second, they are teaching their kids that it is o.k. to screw your fellow hunters out in the field. If these kids see their dads doing this, then they will do it and it just keeps getting worse. I know it isn't going to change, just wanted to b!+ch a little I guess.

Your pathetic dude. It wouldn't matter if everyone hunted perfect in your eyes. First time you're workin birds and another hunter shoots nearby and your ducks flare, you'll still b1tch. WHAT PART OF PUBLIC do you not understand? Deal with it, lease your own ground, or just quit.

Well, guess you got me pegged. Must just be some sort of little cry-baby. Bet you are the type who teaches your kids when they go out hunting to just shoot at anything that moves, be it man or beast. In a sport that has limits on the types of birds you can take, you should at least wait until they are in the same county you are in. It's dumbazzes like you who give hunters a bad name to non-hunters. BTW, even with idiots like you around, on public land , we still ended up with a good days worth of birds. Maybe there is something to skill, and not just blowing your wad.

Dude.....you just blew your wad all over the internet. And you're right. I got you pegged. You are a super duck wacker as long as there's not a soul around. Two posts on this thread and twice you've had to mention how many ducks you got.
And that was in spite of all the topwater mofos you had to deal with. Wish I was as good as you, but I don't even hunt. Well, except for goofballs on the internet.

Well it's a good thing you're around to keep us all in line man. I guess we can all sleep better knowing someone who doesn't even hunt can tell the rest of us how it is done. Thank God for you.

Re: Tired of the idiots!!!
Well, I had just the opposite happen sunday. Hunted some public land and had 5 different groups try to beat me to a location. Upon finding me there, each exited quickly and set up at least 200 yards away, as we all enjoyed some success. No problems except some wandered how I was there ahead of them. I was just a bit more mobile and quick. Love it when a plan works and many enjoy the day.

So Bruce! Please explain what it's like to sleep in a layout blind out in a field, over night, for a man of your age.

Pretty comfortable actually, brought along a pillow, battery powered tv and was watching The Lone Ranger when friends showed up. Will always wonder who the mask man was!PS it doesn't always have to be a bad experience on public waters.
