A dozen or more times.

Truth is, SF did get me on that one. But, I would rather suck a bulls dick than kill a duck. HC, I said I go duck hunting. I never said anything about killing them. Image

DMR: I have been about 5 times probably. It was fun for sure. If it didn't coincide with deer season, I'd hunt them more often for sure. I grew up 15 miles east of the ridge. Have you heard of Floodway and Little River? Mom and Dad now live out on the hill near Powe, but I come from a little flatter ground.

Yeah, I know of where you mention. The Ridge is close enough to toss an insult your way. Image

The fact that you've gone more than once says it all. Forkin closet ducker. Iffin there was a record book for fowl, you'd piss in yer waders rather than miss a minute in the blind. Image

That may be true DMR. That may be true. I used to really love dovehunting growing up. I lived for September 1 each year. I can see where duck hunting would be much the same way I guess. I do like blasting at them for certain.

Dawgonit: Not from anywhere near Higginsville.

Edit :

Hey, Boomhauer,

I've heard that telemarketing firms seek people from Indiana because they lack a regional accent. Does everybody's duck call sound the same too ? Image

We do get some accent spillover in Southern Indiana from Kentucky. I think the term for those with the twang around here is "hillapes." I are one.
We walked ten miles for one stupid duck?

Other than wanting to know where to go, what part of his questions affected the internet? Are you worried some lurking topwaters may actually start choosing the right equipment or start being courteous to other duckers by actually knowing how to hunt? He didn't ask for GPS coordinates to locate your honey hole.

Realize I'm not attacking you TTN, but I fail to see how leading people to good informational sources for duck hunting is going to hurt the sport.

Could I please borrow some waders from one of you? Make sure they have never been farted in, because I have alergies. Image

Hey, I was helpful...I just had to add some sarcasm to the existing ducker/flyfisherman (they are generally the same people) (and I am one a few days a year). Now whether I was right or thorough is a whole other story, but helpful..heck yeah.

I wasn't on you Shawn....it just cracks me up how this place can be just like the Cafe sometimes. I'm not saying it has to be like the 'Fuge, but all we need is Griffin, Krazy and FM over here to put in their 2 cents and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Image
