Rafe, there are plenty of holidays where i is perfectly acceptable to drink by 10am. This is just the only one where drinking is the main event from the get go. Well, this and Marti Gras.

I ain't real big on liquor. A nice chilly American beer is fine by me.

I think I have one of those little airline bottles of scothch around here somewhere. It oughta be good and aged by now.
