Good Day

Post by Triton X2 » March 15th, 2006, 6:37 am

today. I went out on Table Rock about 8 this morning and came in around noon. Had 5 keepers with 4 being smallmouth with a couple of those around 3 lbs and one that was huge. Had another largemouth that was close to 3...All in all a pretty good morning.

Yes sir, that sounds alright.

Were you on any of those "Crafty spots"?

Bigfoot and I are supposed to hit the rock tomorrow, for bass I hope. He has been talking specks but I sure don't want to go there.

BTW: You make it sound like you only get to go like once a month, not like you live on the lake and go every day. Image

That sounds like a great day!
We've been catching a few up my way, but not the size you describe.

Nice spots Jigman...I wasnt using a stickbait like you were but used a grub in pretty shallow water, like less than 10 feet of water near the dam....Oops, I didnt see the largemouth at the last pic. Did you catch yours very deep?

Bullitt, you are right, I can go practically everyday, but I dont catch em like I did a couple of days ago...I was quite a ways from where you fish...

Several of the fish we caught were surprisingly shallow. I don't think they could have seen a grub up my way last weekend. It probably has cleared back up some now.

Went out again this morning and had 4 keeper smallies that would have averaged close to 3 lbs. Another good morning.. No I dont have pics, cuz everytime I take a camera out with me I dont catch squat...Kind of like bad luck you know.

At your age, do you really need your gonads anymore?
