Opinion on score of this fella?
I have pix of this guy from at least three different nights but he doesn't show up during the daylight hours. What will he go? Journal

As an 8 pointer, I would say low 140s for sure. Dang nice deer.

Hard to say, his body is more impressive than the rack, imo. 130's.

I have about 8 pictures of him. Some make his rack look bigger but he is several feet from the camera and it's harder to see him so I didn't put them on the journal. I have another where he is almost touching the camera so you can only see a portion of his rack, but shows he has decent mass.

Is there any other way you can hunt this deer? If he's working that scrape at night, can you move on him, and try to kill him farther up or down the trail?

Not too many places to go. this is in a creek bottom. The spot I am in is about the only place to set up where I won't get winded. Also, since the pictures are from morning and evening and he could be traveling either way up or down the creek it's hard to say which direction he would be coming from at any givin point.

Yeah, that sounds like a decent set up. He'll be running that bottom during daylight some time in the next week or so.

Wow, I think Flake actually got close to one, for once.
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.
