Re: Don't forget to vote!!!
Snowy is right on. All you have to do with any election issue is follow the money. The individuals Snowy was refering to own a company that will now be going public. Just off of that, and the tax monies they will reep will net them BILLIONS.
It is correct that this research was going to happen regardless. If that is the case than why did it need reforming our state constitution. Now, if something is going on that seems of questionable ethics, tough. These "scientist" are immune from scruitny. This is a very bad thing form Missouri. I don't care how much Bond and Blunt think it will bring to the state. They are sell-outs, and I will remember that at election time.
BTW.....BJ, you are a dolt. Stay the fuk out of Missouri.

Re: Don't forget to vote!!!
We shouldn't ban BJ, we should all just step it up a bit in dishing the chit towards him.
This vote pissed me off. Let's hope there's only two years of this bs.
Oh, the cloning chit is not only an immoral thing to do, it was an immoral campaign to get it voted in.

The Doctor said I should drink more whiskey. Also, I'm calling myself 'The Doctor' now.

BJ, why don't you and 2B get together and solve the world's problems, and spare us in the process.

Re: Don't forget to vote!!!
This election really left a bad taste in my mouth. Somehow I doubt that an individual from Houston, MO has any care in the world for someone on Washington Avenue in St. Louis, MO. Heck, I doubt she has very little care for someone from even Cabool for that matter. Not that the other candidate would either, but, if not for the KC/Columbia/StL area, Claire would not have won. I am now more convinced than ever that the vast majority of Americans are out of touch with reality. Sure, there are those democrats in certain states that taunted a more conservative candidacy, but partisanship will rule once in the halls of Congress.
Live the American dream? Baby I am the American dream.

I could be mistaken, but I think I heard an advertisement on the radio the other day that said Claire held down an old nursing home woman while her husband raped and pillaged her...course, I may have just gone over the deep end from all of the crap political ads I have heard...Those stupid SOB's think they can change my mind with those ads. They must think we are all stupid morons.

Well, a miracle has occurred. I friggin agree with Snowflake! Who woulda thunk it? Embryonic stem cells... I do not believe will cure anything. It's interesting. Adult stem cells have not shown the benefits that these a-holes promise and adult cells seem more promising. This is more about libs defining when "life" begins IMO.
The election overall makes me sick. Claire is a friggin elitist bi+ch, whose x-hubby was murdered in a mob hit for fukc's sake... and people voted for her?
I'm sorry but you gotta be pretty shady to get killed by Tony Soprano.
I'm afraid to say I think W's (dis)approval ratings played a bigger role here than anything. Let taxes skyrocket... gays monkey hole in wedlock... give up your guns... and change the name of this country to Los Estados Unidos. Make way boys, the Democratic train is comin though.
We could commune up and form a militia.
I AM kidding.

Re: Don't forget to vote!!!
Bud, the other day I was talking to a dem that was bitching about him and his being cut from Medicaid months back.
Not to get me wrong here, I am all for programs that can help a family/person in need, such is a generous gesture of this great nation. Temporary help being the key in most situations, though. No lie here, I have seen many gut wrenching situations with poverty stricken families in my line of work and I sleep better knowing there is help for families that need it.
Anyway, I asked what he did with his tax return and it was gater skin boots, clothes, big screen Tv, surround sound, etc.
What kills me is so few people that can really cash in on a tax return with their EIC's and lower class wages ever bother to use their returns to...buy or supplement the cost of their own fuggin health insurance policy. Heck ya $400 a month for family coverage is expensive, but you just got $3500 back!
So I ask you, do you want to be taken care of or do you want to care for yourself?

I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. – Fred Bear
