Dave do you think the noddles would work at Taney?

Mike, I bet they would if you put 2 or 4 lb line on them. I don't know if jugging is legal for trout or not. Snowy, why don't you post up an open invitation to make this troutfest. I did the noodlefest so this one is your turn.

At risk of starting the 2B and Craig stuff up again, I think that would be a blast!!! Count me in. We can probably do something like that at the Sportsman's Club here in Jeff at the walk through course.

I do have one question though. If a guy sees tons of deer that are 120-140 class bucks in the 2.5-3.5 year old range, is he really a better hunter than the rest of us, or is he just a product of his environment?

It would depend on how many guys we had coming in. Let me do some checking and I'll get back to you on that one. We can always bring guests out there, just don't know exactly what the limitations are.

I bet I'll be an even better shot in spring, than I am right now. This is going to be easy.

That`s great news, dave. Aren`t you way over-due for one? You seem like the Mathews type to me. Besides that kind of has a ring to it...Dave-Mathews. I know I`ve heard that somewhere before. Anyway...have fun with your search for a new bow. I bet you`re going to be amazed at the new bows.

But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

I may look into one. I don't know much about bow companies, are they new or something?

I'll probably have a new bow by then too.

I want one like Robin's.

I gotta pay for this SOB, Craig. Don't go friggin crazy!

I do have to admit... I love it when my gift recipients go out and not only choose the perfect gift but bring it home. Now, that's hassle free Christmas shopping! Image

If I let LA pick it out, I'd have a 1987 bear whitetail with itty bitty round wheels, and 1/2" of dust on it. Same with guns. I just bring one home and say, "Here's my Christmas present, thanks honey." Then I have my way with her.

It seems to work out better that way.

Since this is my 1,000th post... I will dedicate it to you and not argue with my wonderful husband. Whatever you say, honey. BTW... what would you like for dinner?
