Don`t worry MOCantkillanythingwithabow, he still won`t get it right.
One day, long, long ago, there lived a woman who did not whine, nag, or bitch.
But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.

If it is like my leupold it wont click but will move and there are degrees. It wont affect the bullet like a clicking scope mover....There how is that for gun language.

Damnit, I don't mess with guns much. It is that simple. If it is the same as with a bow, I will be fine. I have sighted in a scope maybe 3 times in my life. Little experience with such. Now a bow, I am squared away with. A gun, you guys already know the story. I just don't shoot them much. Thanks for all of the advice. I guess you would have to do the gun vice thing at 50 yards or less to start, correct? I just hope I can get good groups so that it will be easy. I want this thing exactly 2" high at 100 yards. Again, thanks for all the advice you goober smooching bastages.

Okay MOTard, but we`ll have to use a system that counts total numbers of kills, and total inches of antler. I`ve been into quality, over quantity, for several years. Plus I`ve got huntingATM to whack a couple a year for us now (when he can pull his head out of his donkey, and shoot straight. He missed a nice 8-pt last weekend). I guess what I`m saying is count me in. btw...do elk, and mule deer count?

Also, remember to clean the bore between shots. Sabot bullets clog the bore with plastic residue more than powerbelt full bore bullets do. Adjust the scope in the direction you want the bullet to move on the paper.

Also, dont shoot over 4 or 5 times without letting it cool down a little.

Usually, I just run a wet patch between shots. Is this sufficient?

Snake, reading all this gives me pains.... Just shoot a few rounds. Take of the scope covers and follow the little yellow arrows. They tell you just what to do. Also... a patch or two every so often and it'll shoot fine.

Smitty- don't listen to any of these Jack-legs. You stated you wanted to get the bullet to move down. These dummies are telling you how to move the scope- they are not the same! In order to move the "bullet" down you have use a vise- but not a gun vise. Put the gun barrel in a heavy duty shop vise and get a buddy or two to help you gradually bend the barrel downward a little. That is the only way to move the bullet (other than lessening the powder charge). BE SURE to only bend the last third of the barrel though, since if you bend the barrel to close to the lock, it will also move the scope mount. Hope this helps.
