I barely have my pins set (20yds, 40yds, 60yds) and could use a bit more time to get ready. I was just seeing if it would fall on a weekend that I can make it.

I aint worried, and I'm pretty sure you're forked since I've never seen a 34" draw length option for a bow.

They're not talking about a crab rangoon eating contest.

I vote for mid March or after June 1st. There's no need to fork with my fishing time.

PS, you got the targets bought yet? I reckon you'll need about a dozen, dozen and a half, or so of those nice McKenzie or Delta 3-D type targets. I figger you can pick those up at Bass Pro. When ya get'em out to your house, get'em set up, and shootin lanes cut... gimme a call and I'll come out and help ya range'em and put out the shootin markers.

Course there's also the beverages. Now I, mahself, am no longer an embiber of alcoholic type drunks... but I've seen some of these fellas in prime form. Might I suggest you consider getting a few kegs. Your beer costs would certainly be less that way.

As for well drinks... I think you're screwed there. That's gonna be pretty expensive. But I think that most of these guys could probably live with off-the-shelf type stuff.

For us non-imbibers, I think just a few cases of various colas would be fine.

Then why are we talkin about it now? That's a long way off.

The only comment that needs to be said, is that we are giving plenty of time for PS to find a good price for a hog that he can put in the ground, and find plenty of 18-20 year old Nordic women who can piss Guinness. Maybe put an ad in the paper or something.

Prizes!

He'll definitely need to offer prizes... say like a 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, 5th place, and 6th place prize... and then a few door prizes of course.

I'm thinkin all expenses paid fly-in hunting/fishin trip for 2 somewhere in Canada for 1st place.

Maybe a new gun or bow for 6th place. Various other stuff at corresponding price levels.

Myabe some treestands, range finders, binocs, etc. as door prizes.

Martin Cougar Lynx -

With an 8 inch overdraw I was shootin 28" 2413 shafts and using one pin out to 30 yards at 68 pounds. I sold that bow two years ago to Scout1 on the cafe.

He said he took out back of his house one time. He put an arrow on the rest (timber doodle), connected the release and pulled back on the string. As it was breaking over his finger hit the release release and the arrow went three sections over into a neighbors cow lot...he put it up and hasn't touched it since then.

The crab rangoon eater has a few ribbons and trophies from 3d shoots of the past. He just gave it up when kids came.

Even though there is absolutely no reason for Snowflake to show up, just in case he does we could use a UFC type set-up. I will be first in line to give him the donkey-kickin that he so richly deserves.

But it was a long time ago, and it was just that one day.
