Countdown

Post by BornBad » November 10th, 2009, 4:01 pm

4 days left until firearm opener and nobody has anything to say? Is there anyone here setting up a deer camp this year?

Plenty of rubs going on where I plan on hunting this year, not that it matters, I am perfectly content with a doe or two.

We do deer camp our small farm. big log home with hot tub and all the drags are down hill from the woods. The bigguns get hauled in on the tractor. It's all family, three generations, and always a good time.

I bought my landowner tags this morning. I'm meeting my brother at my Daviess County property on Saturday morning. We will hunt there until Monday evening- he will stay and maybe hunt up in that area all week.

I think I'll come in to work on opening day and get some things accomplished that can only be done on Saturdays. I'll also get new tires on the car and take Rafe, Jr. in for a haircut.
