I will be there with my $5.00 in hand. Just make sure I know where you are at 3:00 so I can get my money.I hope to get down Fri. It will be interesting to see what the lake level will be and how them dropping the lake will affect the upper fish.If the weather holds up it should be fun.

Lee, have you informed the walleyes of this yet? They seem to have a pretty firm grasp of what we are up to, and have a very effective fisherman avoidance system in place.

AA I've got Ralph's $5. We'll probably not be there much before 9am so will have to see you on the water. Is everyone going to use the same ramp or are we making like quail again??

Not like a walleye to move much!!!!! The first year they tagged walleyes they tagged one the first night and released it at river run the next day it was caught in beaver creek. The one thing I would love to see is a radio tracking study done on Bull Shoals and Stockton just to see how far thes fish move. The tagging study should help but I'd like to see radio tracking so you can see how far they move in a day.

Last August I caught a tagged walleye in the Lead Hill / Diamond City area. I sent the tag in with the required info to claim the big reward ($10.00).... The letter I received back from the MDC (A.J. Pratt) said it was tagged 5 1/2 months earlier clear up at River Run near Forsyth. That is MANY, MANY miles.... It was a female and had grown considerably since it was tagged. I can't remember how much exactly but I think it was 1 1/2 inches longer then when it was tagged.
That reminds me... Remember people, there are still alot of tagged walleyes in Bull Shoals and you need to watch for them. They all have a monetary amount on them. If you send in the little bit of info required by the MDC, you'll get a check and some info on where and when the walleye was tagged. Interesting stuff.....

I'll be there there with toothpicks (to hold my eye lids open) and rod in one hand and fork in the other :p. Pman, I'm planning on setting a couple of minner traps tomarrow so hopefully we'll have some fresh live bait Image.

I caught a tagged walleye a couple of years ago in Mincy Creek cove. Sent in the information and found it had been tagged at River Run 3 months before.

That's quite a few miles. They travel.

Just go east out of Forsyth like you are heading for Beaver Creek Boat dock. Just before you get there (To the turn off) the Wagon Wheel set on your right. Just look for all the boats sitting on a lot--------Its real hard to miss hunter. Image
