LB - that would be the monthly meeting for the Missouri Walleye Anglers Association.

Otherwise known to some as "The Hooter's Lifestyle Support Group", with a minor emphasis on walleye topics. Image

LB - actually after the wing thing we do have a real assn meeting at the Nature Center...it's usually not as much fun though!

Yeah, the wing thing is definitely more fun, and a lot easier on the eyes (human eyes, not walleyes) than having to look around the table at the assorted guys, some from this group, some not. It can get downright scary sometimes.

Except for Pat, of course. She's good people.

Where's Lunder? Don't tell me somebody actually found a need for fiber-optic cable around here...if anybody should have time for this stuff, he should!

Hey,P.D.Been out of the area for a few days ,What do you mean by not much fiber cable to run, this is the wave of the future man. Image Everyone wants more speed, except for walleye fisherman, they can't go slow enough.
Looks,as of now, that I will be at the pre meeting for wings and tall fishing tails, but the cold beverage even sounds better.
The responses on the board for last weekend didn't look very positive,so the fishing talk may be mostly b.s. Image
One would think that one of these weekend someone will catch more than a eye or two.
Well, not like C.W.,some of us need to go back to work. ImageSee you folks at the meetings. Image Image Image

Well, this bunch has taken the Wagon Wheel from obscurity to world wide notoriety. Guess Hooter's is next...as if they need any more notoriety. But anybody who wants to join us, come on in. Last time walleyesrus fudged on the time and got there early, followed closely by CW, but the "official" gathering time is 5:30 pm until about a quarter til seven. That's when we meander over to the Nature Center for the MWAA meeting. You might want to avoid that, however....there will be lots of discussion about walleye tournaments, prize money, etc. etc. Such talk can be highly addictive and you might find yourself on the ramp of Beaver Creek Public Use Area in some serious competition in a few weeks......you have been warned. (that ain't considered proslytizing, is it????) Image Image

WHAT did you call those poor Hooters girls, CW????

You'd better be careful--half of 'em are still in high school!

PD....apparently you have not checked your email recently. I just sent you the newest Krispy Kreme lingerie calendar. Just concentrate on that at work tomorrow and don't worry about the Hooter's girls....they have their own calendar.
And they're not "poor", either. We tip generously, and if they put their money in the bank like they should instead of buying dumb stuff like food (they can eat at Hooter's), rent (they can stay at my house free), presents for the boyfriend....if they all were to join some "un-named fishing association", would they then be known as Hooter's Hookers ???? Now don't you wish you had let sleeping dogs lie? One last thought: AA is an old Navy guy...they have a department within the Navy called the United States Marine Corps, and it is highly likely that he spent some quality time with members of that esteemed organization. Tomorrow evening as we enjoy the wings, ask Ack what a "BAM" is. But do it in a very low voice....you never know who might be listening in.
