I got winded by a little doe on Wed. I heard her running across the pasture and looked back just as she was getting to the fence. When she got to the fence, she turned and walked East along the fence. She got immediately downwind of me and stopped and squatted down, and was flaring her nostrils trying to find out what it was she could smell. Finally she turned and walked West along the fence about 40 yards and jumped over into the timber, crossing behind me. It was pretty funny to watch her try to figure me out.

I had a nasty case of intestinal distress that day. I'm surprised she didn't wind me from the other side of the 100 acre pasture.

Isn't it odd that when you have to crap in the woods, it's always a sloppy soft one. I had to take a crap in the woods this weekend while turkey hunting, and had to fashion my water bottle into a backwoods bidet, after I left my mark. Honestly, there was no other way, it had to be done.
