TTTN,

That's one of the reasons I had it mounted.

I couldn't bring it back to life ( I was shootin' lead BBs , so he was kinda shot up Image ) and I sure as heck wasn't gonna eat it.

We gave the other two to a gullible friend of my BIL. He asked us what was the best thing to marinate it in, and we told him lighter fluid. Image

The dog hates me when I shoot them. Looks at me and I can see the disgust in her eyes!! LOL

Not many fowlers on this forum, but I'm guessing we've all been lucky enought to take all those species.

What if any are you missing from this flyway?

I've never picked up a blue bill or a Black Duck.

All but the Bufflehead for me. Never shot at one, but I don't hunt the big water too much these days.

I've also never killed a Canvasback, but I'd sure like to.

The 'Bills mix in with the ringnecks at a couple of the irrigation lakes I hunt.

I also killed a Greater Scaup at Truman in the '80s. Only one I've ever seen.

Shot my first bufflehead last year at EB. Shot quite a few bluebills and a few lesser scaup up at Dalton Cutoffs.

TTN, that's another I haven't shot. I ain't never shot a hooded merganser.

I've been lucky enough to get a hoodie and a bull can, but I've never even had a shot at a sprig. I would like to get a big aprig to put between the hoodie and the can.

I would like to have a pintail, mallard, and woodie mounted. All drakes of course. I asked some of these guys to hook me up last year, but I don't think anyone kills any ducks around here except 2tall, and his dog destroys them after he kills them.

Offered to let him come with me last year so he could kill his own, but he was just looking for a handout.

I told you last year you silly SOB that I was looking for some quality quackers worth mounting. Now, you don't have to kill all 3 in a year for me. One a year will do. I have other stuff like bobcats that I have to pay for. This year for example, one of your goals could be to kill me a nice drake pintail. Not shot up, and well taken care of. You were supposed to kill me one last year DMR. Hobie can't kill chit, so I have to depend on those that can.

I didn't kill one pintail last year.

My back was roached for the biggest part of the season. I look for this year to be better, but the first mountable bull sprig is destined for my wall. Image

I will warn you, I'm pretty picky about what I want in a sprig. I've killed two monsters, but both were fubar.

Most of the pintails I kill don't have the long namesake tail. Image

PS - Where the fornicate you think you're going to put them? Wife's already kicked your Image to the garage...or farther. You think she's going to let you have a mite infested feather bag in the house? Image
