There are 100s of rests out there and I will guarantee you every other fellow will guarantee you that their hunting rest is the best for hunting. I shoot a WB too because it is a very simple rest, but I will not sit here and say that there is no better rest for hunting because I am certain someone will show me one they feel is better. For example, Robin and his ZE. For the most part, one rest is just as good as another if you are tuned and shooting bullseyes. If you aren't, then it is probably the shooter's fault and not the rest.

Hey PS, speaking of shooter's error, how is your shooting coming along?

I'm in my groove again. Did I mention that my bow was severely out of tune? I had to put a new biscuit in and once I got that done, I was grooving. Even when I was off, I was still within an asshair of the heart on a deer. But, it is just aggrivating when you know something isn't right.

PS, quite simply, if I didn`t think the rest on my bow was the best on the market I would keep looking until I found one that made me think so. I would put the ZE up against anything. The main reason being is that it is actually a push away, and not a drop away. There are no cords to break, no prongs to bend, and no springs to stretch. It looks like a pain in the donkey to put on, but once you understand how it works it really isn`t.

Hoyt bows need a plate added with the ZE. And they only fit bows with a 3/8 cable guard. Gangly looking thing for sure. I will officially endorse the TM Hunter. Simplicity and time tested.

The Huntmaster 2000. Now there is one for the river.

I do still use a prong rest. Very simple, and easy to tune, but not the best of the best imo. It gets the job done though.

170: I'm not arguing with you, but it is like comparing apples to oranges. It is like the Hoyt versus Mathews versus Bowtech issue. You've got guys that will say the WB is the best and others will say ZE is best. You've got dudes that will mention NAP Quik Tune, Trophy Taker, or Trophy Ridge and every darn one of them will say the same thing as you. Now, I don't know one way or the other. But, I can tell you this; the only thing I didn't like about the ZE is the fact that I felt as if I couldn't lay my bow down either way without putting pressure on the rest. Not a big deal I am sure, just a personal thing. Otherwise, I know it to be a great rest. I don't like the WB because it ruffles my feathers after several shots but it is still a great rest. Luckily, shooting feathers in the backyard is forgiving to such. PS
Oh, and no 2B, I didn't contradict myself.

No arguement here either, Thunder God. Confidence in your equipment is key. I have had a ZE on five different bows. It has never failed yet. That`s why I recommend it to anyone that asks.

Time tested, yes. Simple...I bet you five bucks my ZE has fewer moving parts than your TM.
