She only got to go on Sunday morning...the older she gets the busier she gets unfortunately. We saw 5 deer, but the only one that presented a good, clean shot left before legal shooting hours. We had a great time out in the woods though. Having two daughters, this gives me something that we can do together and I look very forward to those trips every year.

How about you? Anything to beat that bow buck yet?

Now are we figuring the score on the buck, before or after Shawn is done with it?

Are all the points original or has the rack been altered in any way? Image

I came up with 135" gross. That is a dandy.

Oh, and Shawn, it might do you some good to use a stair-stepper or something. It might make belly crawling less stressful on your belly.

Its more like belling teetering. It was 138 with less than an inch in deductions.

That is until I put the drop tine on one side and split one of the brows and add an extra point to the left side...oh yeah, it isnt quite tall enough either so I am going to add some length to the existing tines...by the time I get done...

I figure my snowflake score will be just a tad under 160 gross.

ImageNo doubt he is mid to upper 130s. Looks like a young deer. I suppose 3.5 years old? The square head on MoCraigs makes me think he is a 4.5 year old.

That is what I was thinking....3.5. We have a few game cam photos of a couple of bucks that their rack sit real high off their head like that one. This deer was taken within 150 yards of where those pics were taken, but we dont have a pic of this one.

And really MoCraig's head is not square..it is more round..kind of looks like the moon with all that sparse hair.

Shut it, Shawn.

BTW - Can you make a 4 pointer into a 10 point for me? Let me know when you want me to drop off the rack.
