Wingmaster's bring more that the standard 870. At least another $100-150 or even more if it's in excellent condition.

No, they don't Dave. Stop being such a tool. $180 tops. I'm coming through in about 4 weeks, Keith. Can you hold it for me?

Keith,

Based on your description of the Wingmaster and assuming it is similar to the photo you posted from Gunbroker, i.e. right handed model, vent rib barrel and rem chokes available, the book lists it as follows:

Vent rib became standard in 1985 - Mfg.'s sug. retail price was $569
- deduct 10% if Rem chokes are not available
@100% = $400
98% = $335
95% = $285
90% = $250
80% = $215
70% = $190
60% = $175

Again, if you have used the gun a fair amount and the quality is similar to the picture I'd say you somewhere between 80% and 90%. Remember these are only "book" values.

I'll need more info on the BAR. The prices vary significantly depending on the grade.
- Need the serial number
- Need to know if it marked "Made in Belgium"
- Need to know the grade of the rifle.
Grade 1 - Standard grade without engraving, blued finish. Ordered with or without sights.
Grade 2 - Blued receiver, engraved with big game heads. Ordered with or without sights.
Grade 3 - features elk and sheep game scenes etched on a greyed steel receiver, checkered stock and forearm.
Grade 4 - Engraved satin finished greyed receiver depicts big game animal scenes and a trigger guard, carved borders on checkering.
Grade 5 - More elaborate engraving than Grade 4 with gold inlays.

BAR
Serial # 71706 M70
YES it IS marked "Made in Belgium"
Grade 1-no engraving, but does have sights.

Browning BAR Grade 1 - The "M70" determines it was manufactured in 1970. - Last Mfg.'s sug. retail price was $633
@100% = $550
98% = $475
95% = $400
90% = $350
80% = $325
70% = $300
60% = $280

Add 20% for marked "Made in Begium"

This gun has its sights. A small amount would have been deducted had the gun been ordered without sights.

Again, considering the age of this gun and assuming you have hunted regularly with it in the past it would be rare to find one higher than 90% with use. Remember these are only "book" values.

These prices are similar to used car pricing. You would typically only see or use these book prices as a base line for "used" retail pricing, say in a gun shop or gun show.

Hope this helped,
Toby
