I just squared away 200 acres of land that has had 15 to 20 birds on it the last 2 mornings. Look to be gobblers and jakes best I can tell. Should be a done deal rain or shine. We will see.

Actually LA had it in her mind it was her bird to shoot, and I'm feeling like a thief for taking the shot. It was close, and I was worried that if we didn't get it killed then, it would bust us. I'm pretty sure that I made the wrong decision now. After all, she got up as early as I did. Sorry LA, sometimes I get an itchy trigger finger.
