DMR, I'm planning on being there but you never know with work. I was going to bring some tenderloin for you to blacken and some crappie fillets to fry up. Is we going to campout again?

Tell them slave drivin' bastages that you need the weekend off. You're gonna go nuckin' futs if you keep workin' this much.
You bring the loin, and I'll blacken it.
We need to make sure we have a fryer. ( the appliance, not the person ) Are other folks bringin' fish, or should I also bring some crappie ? We ain't gonna get chit outta KF this year, except maybe the fryer.
Camp out, Ford motel, whatever you wanna call it. All I know is that I ain't drivin' anywhere Sat. night.
Anyone that travels a fair distance to get there is crazy to drive home that night. Even if you're a teetotaler, the roads will be full of people that ain't.

I gots a fryer at home...but haven't been able to locate the tank for it. Let me know if you need it and I can run a recon mission at the farm and see if I can come up with tank. I also have a stack (small stack, considering this bunch) of firewood I can bring...and can probably cut more downed wood if we need it.
The boy and I are planning on camping...if he don't get some fishing in with a lake right there I'll never hear the end of it.

I told ya, there's a 8 or 10 ac. lake about 50 yds. from the pavillion. There's even a boat ramp.
I've never seriously fished it, but it has some standing dead timber. It looks like a dude could whoopp the bluegill and green fish. I don't know about the specs.
Maybe I'll talk Brian into bringin' his little boat, and we'll find out.

I ain't draggin' my boat out there.
I'll also talk to Brian about a fryer. I'll see him at tomorrow's Warren co. free-for-all.
Edit : Firewood is another concern. Anybody that can bring some, even if it's a couple of armfuls, would help.

That's why I said he's gonna have to get some fishing in with that lake there...but I ain't dragging a boat. If KF can, great, if not we'll sit our azz on the bank. Either way the kid will be happy...as long as I gots a beer, I'm happy!

We'll be at the dam end of the lake. In the past, it's always been mowed, so bank fishin' shouldn't be a problem.
If I can sneak away from the grill, I'd be willing to toss out a tightline for a whiskerhead.

I could bring some turkey breast, and maybe some flathead if I get some. Backstrap is also possible if it's needed.
Keep tabs on what we have and I'll try to bring stuff that's needed. Don't think I can manage firewood though.

Dave,
Keeping tabs on such chit is why I started this thread. Bring what you see fit.
This whole deal revolves around diversity. Everyone has access to differing critter meat, firewood, cooking vessels, etc.
If everyone was an exclusivist, ( iffin' that ain't a word, I don't care ) it would tend to be boring. As it stands, our diverse interests extend far beyond the realm of, " I'm a bowhunter ", or " I'm a duck hunter".
That's the beauty of this whole thing ! It doesn't matter if you're a traditional archer, panfishing purist, or one of us dumbasses that spends time in a fetid swamp trying to kill ducks.
There are common threads that bind us all. This is a chance to visit with people you know, and meet those that you don't.
Drunkards, teetotalers, dopers, gluttons, one-beer wonders......... who gives a *&%$ ? If we didn't all have common interests, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
I hope to see / meet many of you on June 24th.
Greg

Sweet! Booger remains offer even more diversity.

You are correct, Your Pregnantness.
The variety of pollen producing plants should set the stage for technicolor boogers. I can see a contest on Sat. eve.

Kum by ah, my lord, kum by ah...
JimDog'll be there. And maybe a couple of JimPups - just need to check on their baseball schedules.
I have a charcoal smoker and a fryer that I can bring if needed. I'll also bring some food, but it'll have to be something domestic, as I have already eaten the few crappie that I caught this year, and all the venison is gone. Maybe a couple of beer-butt yard birds or someting. I'll make the determination later once we get a better idea of what is needed.
Also - since Snowflake can't make it - how about having it at his house after all.
