Have you ever seen a picture of H170? I swear, he sleeps in a coffin & has never seen the light of day. We'll just assume that's his sister.

Its his daughter, and that's a nice rack.
I saw a big buck that had dropped his horns struggling on the side of the road after being hit by a car. The cop had a 12g out and was on one knee taking aim at the buck. I was expecting to see the shot, but that copper looked aweful uncomfortable and unsteady, and never did shoot. I even slowed down and then listened for it after I passed him. Nothing, the wimp. The buck was a mature one, and had some big pedicle marks where he had dropped the horns fairly recently

Have you found any matches yet.

Shouldn't play with matches out there in the timber.

Rafe,
Stick with the health inspection gig, your comedian aspirations may come up short.

I wasn't trying to be funny. It was a genuine effort to be helpful.

Nope, no matches, or lighters for that matter. (See Rafe, it isn`t that funny) Found another big left side, and a smaller double, main beam side about 100 yards from where I found this one. Pics of those 2 will have to wait.

A couple of friends of mine went out this morning. They found a few sheds, including a massive 3 point side, but they also found 5 dead bucks in one stretch of timber. The biggest of those was around 185". It was a basic 8 point, with 15" G2s, and 12" G3s. Incredible mass, and a few NT points. It was an absolute giant. They had no idea what might have killed the bucks. They had all been dead for quite awhile. They wondered if maybe blue tongue got them. No matter, it`s fortunate that they found this buck, but a real shame that a hunter couldn`t have tagged the buck of a lifetime.

I'd love to see a picture of a buck like that.
I`d love to see a buck like this walk by me at about 18 yards. I`ll get a pic ASAP. I have some on my cell phone, but as usual, they suck.

I went out walking for 1.75 miles with the little one yesterday. Didn't find chit.
Post up the pics of that 185 8pt. Those don't happen very often.

We were bustin' brush about half the time. On the way back, I stuck to the fields though.
